Building Mali Utgard for Kernel 6.x

Hi, I'm pretty new to software development, but I'm trying to fork RetroPie to the Amlogic Le Potato which uses the Mali-450 gpu, but all of the OS images for it are Linux kernel 6.something, Armbian is 6.92 and Raspbian, Debian and Ubuntu are 6.12.13 (I think, I maybe misremembering) I got the fork semi-working with the open source Mesa Lima driver, but its not the best with 3D graphic integration, so I was wondering if there was a way to build and integrate the Utgard driver in the OS images instead or if I was stuck with Mesa Lima?
