Update for ODROID N2+ R40 user space binary driver?

Will the ODROID N2+ user space drivers be refreshed in the near future?

Or is R40 the final release?

I noticed the kernel drivers are up to R42.

FWIW, the R40 Vulkan drivers work well on Linux and are invaluable for characterizing Mali Bifrost on debuggable hardware.

Thanks!

  • Hi Allan,

Sorry for the late reply -- I've been chasing this internally.

Just a quick update for now that it's our intention to keep the user-space releases up to date here but there's been a shakeup in the external hosting of some of the patches the release relies on.

We're looking into how to resolve this in a good way but it's taking some time to clarify some aspects of this. So, while it's not possible to give a timeframe right now I wanted to at least let you know we're working on it. :)

    Cheers,
    Christian
