arm based utility program to adjust brightness?

Running a Mali-450 based droid 4.4.2 version on a media dongle using xbmc but video is too dark compared to displaying same source on same tv via different device.

I found the xbmcand kitkat brightness / contract has no impact on the video output.

Is there a utility tool you can point me towards that I can download / install to adjust display variables to correct this?

Thanks in advanced.

  • If you are looking at display or video (MPEG, H264, etc) then this is nothing to do with Mali-450. Mali-450 is an OpenGL ES accelerator for UI rendering and 2D/3D game rendering - it's not a display controller or video decoder (unlike a desktop GPU these are not a monolithic entity).
