Hi I am just getting started with UI engine and have some problems running examples.
This is the error I get.
Error 1 error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'mde/mde.h': No such file or directory C:\Users\Frazer2011\Documents\ARM Mali Developer Tools\Mali GPU UI Engine v2.3.1\tutorial_examples\06_drawing_a_triangle_the_hard_way\main.cpp 15 1 06 - Drawing a Triangle the Hard Way

Hi Shonaboy,
Looking into the error message you posted, I assume you are using Windows with Visual Sutdio. I also assume you have installed UI Engine version 2.3.1.
When you install UI Engine in windows it creates an Environment variable called MALI_UI_ENGINE_ROOT. It then uses this environment variable to set the paths to the headers correctly. Please check if this environment variable is properly setup.
You can also manually add the path to the mde.h in your Visual studio project properties. Please add "your_ui_engine_path\mde_library\include" to the "Additional Include Directories" option in Visual Studio. In Visual Studio 2005/2008 its Project->Properties->C/C++->General->Additional Include Directories.
Cheers,
Wasim
