uVision crashes when starting debugging

I recently updated uVision to the latest version i.e. V5.42. Now when I start the debug session, the uVision crashes. I am using Silabs c8051f020 microcontrller with silabs USB debug adapter.

    Another observation.... if i upload code once and then try to upload again, uVision crashes as well.

    The logs in event viewer are as follows:
