Now, I want to use the same version of the tool for modifying that old code.

QUESTION:
If I buy license now, can I get the support for the old version of the tool?
That is, will I be able to use the new license to remove limitations/restrictions of C51 V9.56? During development activities, if there is a need for support from Keil side, will it be available for this old version too?Please clarify.

For this issue, you can purchase MDK Professional Edition to enable these older tools:

Realistically, support would be very limited for the use of such old tools.
In fact, C51 V9.56 was released in 2016, while the currently latest release, V9.61, was published in 2022:

Nevertheless, after purchasing Keil MDK Professional and completing the registration (as explained by my colleague Ronan), you will also receive support for this toolchain from the Keil Support Team. Just open a new Support Ticket and confirm your license key:
