Why is keil uvision upgraded to V5 but the installation information and windows registry are still shown in V4?

    Yes, µVision 5 is 12 years old but is still maintained and extended. µVision 4, 3 and 2 was even much older. For new applications, you can use MDK 6 which works under Windows, Linux, and Mac OS (not just Windows like µVision 5). However, the debug experience is still best with µVision 5 (especially trace and Event Recorder). MDK 6 will catch up in this area until the end of this year.

    It would be great if V6 could catch up this year. I asked many developers, and it seems they don't like V6 but prefer V5.
