Hello,
We are currently developing on an S32K148 controller using S32DS 3.5 IDE with the default GCC-based toolchain, along with NXP’s RTD package (version 2.0.0) and FreeRTOS. We are now considering a migration to Keil MDK V6 Professional UBL (Compiler version V6.22) and need some guidance on a few points:
Integration with S32DS 3.5:Is there any possibility officially or through custom integration to use the Keil MDK V6 Professional compiler (v6.22) within the S32DS 3.5 IDE environment? If not, could you advise on any workarounds or the reasons behind the incompatibility?
Using Keil MDK Directly:If integration with S32DS is not possible and we need to transition entirely to the Keil MDK IDE, can you confirm that the RTD 2.0.0 package (which we use for the S32K148) is supported when using the Keil compiler? Are there known compatibility issues between RTD 2.0.0 and the Keil MDK V6 Professional toolchain?
Migration Guidelines:Are there any migration guides or recommended practices for transitioning a project from S32DS (GCC toolchain) to Keil MDK, particularly for our configuration (S32K148 with RTD 2.0.0 and FreeRTOS)? We need details on:
Any documentation, technical suggestions, or pointers to relevant resources would be really helpfull.
