Our Keil MDK professional v6 license subscription was renewed on 28th December 2024. It was previously activated on a computer with the activation code that was sent to us. Now even after renewing, it is showing expired on 28th December. When I check my products and orders in the arm developer portal it shows both the new order that expires on 28th Jan and the older one that expired on 28th Dec. I tried deactivating and reactivating the license from armlm GUI but still it shows expired on 28 Dec.
I looked at the report and it showed this in the log.
ERRO HTTPS transmission of capability request failed: Post "https://arm.compliance.flexnetoperations.eu/instances/xxxxxxxxxxxx/request": dial tcp 185.146.152.69:443: i/o timeoutERRO HTTPS activation failed: Post "https://api.arm.com/p-software-licensing/v1/activate": dial tcp: lookup api.arm.com: no such hostBut curl is working okay.
Hi Narendra
I believe this is due to an (implicit) overlap of the licenses, whereby the older license is valid for 7 days longer than you expect it to be.
As I type this, it is January 6th, and so more than 7 days after Dec 28th, and so the new license should be picked up when you (re)activate this.
I hope that you were able to continuously use the tools despite this issue.
