I have several old non-commercial projects developed in MDK community edition. They are based on Nordic's nRF5_SDK, which requires arm compiler 5. Migrating to arm compiler 6 requires substantial work for some key functions are coded in arm asm syntax, not gnu syntax. And the original developer won't migrate it to new compiler.
I got a free MDK community license last year, and it's going to expire today. I understand that MDK community license policy has changed, but I have tried the user-based license and arm compiler 5 is not supported. I am trapped here. Can I get an old-style free license? Or I must find some way to migrate the code?
Thank you for your advice Sir.
