Hello! I'm trying to download some packs to use with hardware on the pack installer for the ARM-Keil simulator however, every time I try to install the pack "Keil::STM32L4xx_DFP" I get an error message that reads:
E: the specified CMSIS Pack Root directory does NOT exist! Please take a moment to review if the value is correct or create a new one via `cpackget init` command
Cannot download "www.keil.com/.../Keil.STM32L4xx_DFP.2.6.2.pack: General error
Could anyone help me resolve this issue? I'm not finding helpful answers for my specific issue online and would really appreciate the help!
I'm using uVision MDK version 5.39! I checked out the link you sent, but I'm not sure if v6 is available for uVision yet, perhaps I was looking in the wrong place? Also, would you know how to check if my environment variable is defined? Thank you!
That is the latest uVision. As per the blog I referenced, MDK 6 is VS Code based.
You can see (and set) Environment Variables in Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced System Properties > Environment Variables
Hey Ronan, I am getting a similar error, when I went to the environment variables I could not find one. I made one in the user area, however I am still getting the same error.
I tried using the 'cpackget init' command in terminal however it said it was unrecognized.
