SD card corruption during power failure

Hi All,

I have been trying to use SD cards for my ARM based project .While flashing the code on the board if there is a power failure for couple of times continuously,
this result in SD card corruption.I am not able to open the SD card and it shows corrupted and unreadable.I am using Keil microvision for code compiling
and flashing.I have checked in the "Journal file system" in the settings also.

Kindly help with this issue.

Pratap

  • Well, don't do that then.  Flashing is one of those operation you absolutely do not want to interrupt by power failures.  If the surrounding set-up cannot guarantee that power will be stably available throughout the whole process, do not start flashing things.
