Hello!
My name is Shane and I'm working on a project that involves an IC that has an embedded Synopsys DW-8051 device. I am trying to perform an overhaul of the linker for this project, but I'm having a hard time understanding how it was architected and how to manipulate it appropriately.
Are there any tutorials available that describe how this BL51 linker works? I know that there are some reference documents available through Keil, but they aren't very helpful to someone like me who is really new to linkers and their structure.
Any suggestions are much appreciated! If anyone is willing to take a look at my short linker file and provide a brief explanation for what is being presented, then I would be extremely grateful.

Not much going on with C51 these days.

There's also a 'Search' feature there.
I think that's about it - unless you have a full licence, which gives you direct access to Keil support ...
Have you tried asking Synopsis, or the device manufacturer?
