Hi,
I'm trying to debug an Infineon XC836 micro with uVision 5 but I continually get "No JTAG Device found" errors followed by "No ULINK Device" found errors. I'm using a ULINK2 connected to the OCDS headers and then a JTAG to DAP adapter to connect to the target. All the wiring looks correct and the connections have been tested.
I'm just trying to be able to read the memory contents of my target, not much more.
EDIT: In the debug options pane, after I select the XC800 ULINK Driver and then select "Settings" to configure the driver, the target isn't detected in the JTAG device chain. However, even if I enter the details manually, I run into the same issues.

give part numbers. post a diagram. and some good, clear, in-focus photos of the setup.
So the adapter is actually a Lauterbach part (see image)
The setup is pretty simple:
ULINK2 (OCDS) ---> 16 pin ribbon connector (JTAG) ---> JTAG to DAP adapter (10 pin DAP) ---> target
ULINK2 OCDS interface
JTAG OCDS port of the JTAG to DAP adapter
DAP port of the JTAG to DAP adapter
DAP pins on the target
