No "Simulator" in target drop list.

Hi all

I am working through canprimer_v2.pdf, and opened \CAN.uvproj, selected Simulator, Debug tab has 'use simulator' selected.  I then get an error:

Could not load file:

 .../flash/CanDemmo.axf
