Hello everyone!
I am sure this could be a ridiculous question - but I would love the educated minds of the forum to impart their wisdom.
Is there any difference in operation or performance of using the Programmable Counter Array capturing on the edge of CEX0 vs using Timer 0 gating with edge of INT0?
I have, for the life of my product, used gating on Timer0 to detect sort of a window of activity - Now, moving forward, I would like to expand that ability to 2 more inputs. My interpretation of the datasheet leads me to believe I should be able to accomplish this easily by using the PCA and CEXx inputs. But performance-wise - will I see any differences?
Thanks in advance!
I am sure this could be a ridiculous question it is, because you do not mention which hip. The PCAs are not identical in all derivatives
