Yesterday I tested my new ULINK pro, and I was really completely excited because of the great possibilities.
I was impressed by many things.
Concerning the window "Exception Trace" I have one further wish, which hopefully could be not too difficult to implement:
I would like to add here some sort of "custom conditions" (e. g. "iGlobal > 0" (for a traced global variable iGlobal), or "ITM-Port 0 == 0" or so (if possible with ==, !=, >, <)).
If for such conditions the window would also be able to show automatically the "Min Time in", "Max Time in", "Min Time out", "Max Time out", that would be terrific. I think it would be very useful for many applications.
Alternative idea:
Similar to the window "Trace"->"exceptions" you could create a new window "compare to zero". In this "compare to zero" window you could analyze the trace data for the ITM Ports 0-31, and for the (up to) 4 variables shown in the logic analyzer.
For each of these variables, it would be fantastic to get the time values for the conditions "=0", ">0", "<0", always time-in and time out.
PS: For "idiots" it would be nice, if there would appear a warning, if I open the exception window and the checkbox "EXCTRC" is not marked.
