I have a single user license for RealView MDK-ARM and used it with uVision 3 for several years. Now I upgraded to uVision 4 on my new computer. I uninstalled the license on the old machine and installed it on the new one. No problem...
Except, now when I compile my project I get the following error:
assembling Startup.s... Startup.s: ARM Assembler, 4.1 [Build 567] Startup.s: Error: A9932E: SUPPORT EXPIRED, NEW PRODUCT SERIAL NUMBER REQUIRED. Startup.s: Target not created
How do I get a new Product Serial Number?
Thanks, Dave
When you bought the upgrade, you should have received a new license key. Your old key has (most probably) infinite life with the old uVision 3 but after the support time expires you can't download and run the key with newer versions.
That explains it. I thought I could upgrade to 4 with the license I bought for 3.
Thanks for the quick reply.
