I've noticed that there are a lot of superfluous replies to old, outdated threads. Does it make sense to block threads from any new replies after so many months of inactivity? Jon
I know one post I'll be making a couple of years from now. Fine with me. Some of the threads are generic discussions that could be usefully resurrected with further comments or questions, but most aren't. And, as was said, you can always link back to the old thread for context in a new one. Say, three months before threads get frozen?
Count me in. Three months sounds good.
voting yes. Erik
OK - It's done. Threads older than about 5 months are marked read-only. Replies are no longer allowed. Jon
