I would like to know if there is any EC++ compiler for 8051 microcontrolers. Where can I find it?
No. C barely fits. C++, even EC++ would leave the 8051 with nothing left for the application. Better to use object oriented techniques in C. - Mark
Take a look at http://www.caravan.net/ec2plus/ Keil is woking on it (as far as I know). ...Leo
Keil is woking on it (as far as I know). You have got to be kidding... Keil, tell me it isn't so! - Mark
Oh, come on Mark. People are standing in a long line for the C++ 8051 compiler!! :-) The real answer is, "When people start DEMANDING EC++, we will be forced to provide a solution. Even if, today, we think it's a little outrageous." Keil Support

Whoops! This is what I meant to post, I don't like that reset button at all. --- Heh, let's just sit back and watch them write meaningful programs for the Atmel AT89C1051! Oh I suppose we'll have to get all objecty at some point. That'll be quite the excercise for the Keil compiler group, no doubt. Regards, - Mark
Just to be complete, take a look at http://www.keil.com/pr/ceibo_020327.htm Jon
