Hello all,
I am using Ulink2 JTAG to program the microcontroller. I have kept the JTAG connections reverse to the target board by mistake and the board started drawing more current so i removed the JTAG and corrected the connections. Now it started showing JTAG communication failure.
I have programmed the same target board with another JTAG and it is working fine. I thought the cable was faulty and replaced with a new one but still it shows the same error.
As per my knowledge when i connect the JTAG to the PC RUN Led is glowing and RUN and COMM led glow ON and OFF that means the JTAG has been recognized by the PC.
And in the Optiones for Target-> Debug -> Settings -> Max JTAG Clock -> RTCK is present which means the JTAG is also recognized by the Keil UV4 IDE.
Am i correct with the above assumptions??? Please tell me what could be the problem and how do i re-use my JTAG.
