Motor Control

Hi everybody,

I am currently working in a personal project that includes 2 12VDC motors. I've been trying to find some sample code for motor control using STM32F207 microcontroller. I would greatly appreciate if somebody could point me in the right direction.

TI have BDLC motor driver chips I have used together with an ST ARM.

other manufacturers have such chips too.

I would never attempt to drive a BDLC directly from a micro

But I am sure if I understand how to use one type I could be able to apply that knowledge to any other DC motor.
Just google for difference between BLDC and Stepper to know how uninformed you are on the topic.

I have a 3rd party BLDC driver circuit. I give Controller DAC output voltage as input to the driver and it controls the speed of the motor. You can make your own custom driver circuit or use any IC.
The point is....Its not all the same
