It says, "The use of --apcs=/ropi is not supported when compiling C++. You can compile only the C subset of C++ with /ropi."
What dose it mean by "the C subset of C++" ? Which part of c++ is not supported? nonvirtual member function ? virtual function ? or exception handling ?
So - how about finally post some specific reasons why you feel a need for your loader to decide the actual load address dynamically.
I'd like to know that too. So far my impression is that he wants to familiarize himself with some cool new technology in his spare time. Although I do think that he could pick a technology that would be more beneficial in terms of employment prospects.
