I am using Keil uVision version 4.53 with all updates present. My laptop is running Windows 7 professional. When I select Project -> Build, all the project files are built, even if I haven't changed even one file. I have checked that I don't have a TZ environmental variable. I have tried deleting all *.dep files. This problem is present on all projects, even Keil/NXP example projects. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Does anyone have a solution?

I have only seen that kind of issue when building on a networked share - the file server did have incorrect time so it set all object file time stamps somewhere in the past. So there was always a need to rebuild.
Thanks Westermark. That makes sense, but that's not the problem here. There is no file server from my current location - home office :)
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Is 'Options for Target - Output - 'Create Batch File' checked ? If so uncheck it, otherwise uVision is forced to perform a rebuild of all files all the time...
