No subject

hello sir,

I am doing individual project on PIC(dsPIC33FJ16GP102) microcontroller using GSM. In my project i want to store mobile numbers and message and send through GSM.
So, how can i store permanently in RAM and how can i send through GSM

please give me valuable suggestions.

  • No subject? Why should anyone care about a thread that does not have a subject?

No architecture? So you are not even going to use any processor for this? You play with switches and LEDs to send data and read out responses from the GSM modem?

Permanently store data in RAM? While RAM only stands for random access, it is still commonly used to mean volatile memory. You can't store data permanently in volatile memory - why else would there exists nonvolatile memory?

Send through GSM? Wouldn't a manual for the specific GSM modem contain more information about that?

Your project? So what have you currently done about yuor project? Besides hitting the net, looking for someone else to take over your project?

  • Hmmm. dsPIC33FJ16GP102.

I would have answered this earlier, but I've been busy at the Microchip forum posting questions about Keil products.

  • Yes, I also find it interesting why the lack of PIC in the MCU Architecture/Product drop-down isn't a hint that this might just be the wrong forum for asking questions that relates to PIC chips.

  • Hello Sir,

Sorry, for the mistake next time i am not do that mistake.
First time i registered in this website and i am thinking only how to ask question.

My project will be use in School Buses. The main aim of my project is to send messages to arriving peoples of students when the bus is near to stop.

In this project i am using 4 keys for different applications, that is
    1.Transmission
    2.Delay
    3.Problem
    4.Shift

I have 10 stops is there,
so, I want to store nearly 40 mobile numbers for sending messages. In our PIC we have 1KB of RAM.

I completed Circuit diagram and FLOW CHART. Now i am starting to write CODE but i have some questions.
SO, please kindly help me because this is my one of the best project and no one is not help to me.

  • But you are continuing that same mistake!

This is the Keil forum, for discussions about Keil products - your question has nothing to do with Keil, does it?!
