I'm attempting to install the code-size-limited version of mdk-arm, mdk422a.exe, onto my Windows 7 box, and I keep getting this error:
Checksum Error. The installation file is corrupted and installation must be terminated.
Strangely, the error has occurred at different degrees of progress through the install (usually with the progress bar just in the beginning, or otherwise about halfway.)
I have tried redownloading the installation file several times to different locations, and even different physical media. I have also tried installing into both C:\Keil and C:\Program Files(x86)\Keil. I've also tried running the installer as admin and disabling antivirus. I'm not sure where to go from here.
I was able to work around the issue.
I was originally using Firefox, so I tried Internet Explorer, but that didn't work either. Next I used a linux box on the network and wget to download the installer. That did the trick. Still no clue what the issue was.
By the way, IExplore had the installer marked as dangerous, FYI.
