Hello,
I can use a ULINK2 to trace values logged by a LPC1768 to its ETM, but this still requires the program to take the initiative, thus this is an intrusive action. Is it possible to do the same without having the program actually log the data, in other words have the ETM monitor a memory location independently of what the program is doing (I am a beginner with CM3 chips)? I _think_ I saw such software at a conference a while ago - I was just wondering if I am right and if it is somehow available via uv4/ULINK2/ETM.
Why are hijacking my thread you moron?!

Hijacking a thread (aka "threadjacking"; ie, making posts unrelated to the topic) is not nice and is very rude.
if i say you are the moron i am rude if mister tamir michel calls me moron i am rude i not ask you for unbugged programe!!!!!
"Why are hijacking my thread you moron?!"
Because everybody doing motor control uses the synonymous and preferred term "tracing", so getting the best visibility to his urgent motor control code request topic would be to (re)use a thread about tracing.
