USB HID with Embedded Artist's Evaluation Board ( lpc2148)

Hi,

I have to do a project based on a lpc2148 board. What a have to do is to connect the board's USB to an interface on the PC.
I've tried to compile the example USB HID but i receive the following error message:
parse error before "__packet" . I am using LPC2xxx-gcc for programming the board.
I am new in this domain, so I don't know a lot of things. I've red lpc2148 user manual but still didn't clear things up..
I haven't done the pc interface yet, so it will be helpful if someone could tell me were can I find a simplified one to use it for testing?
Can somebody enlighten me, pls???
