how do i get uv to make a program for a z800?
i have the invaluation copy. but i did not see this for limits.
Look at the list of supported architectures:
http://www.keil.com/product/
Is any of them a "Z800"?
the z800 has a arm cpu. yes?
yes?
so what? if keil don't support it, you need to add it yourself. Please read the manual.
i do not understand. what can i add? uv does arm. yes? z800 has arm. uv can do z800?
Does it?
You're the one asking - so that's a basic bit of info that you need to find out, isn't it?!
What "Z800" are you talking about, anyhow?
This "Z800" certainly isn't ARM-based: www.itpro.co.uk/.../hp-z800-workstation-review
uv does arm
no, uv4 does ARM devices. uv4 manual online explains how to add custom devices.
fi found answer on z800 website. uv does z800 oo^oo
And there is a list of all the devices that come pre-configured here:
http://www.keil.com/dd/chips/all/arm.htm
To set-up for something not already listed, the instructions are here: http://www.keil.com/support/man/docs/uv4/uv4_ca_cpu_ndatabase.htm

Oh, yeah.
You still haven't said what particular "z800" you're talking about!
There are many things called "Z800"; eg,
www.reliablecomputer.com/z800.html
www.autocarbe.com/.../
You need to be specific!
