So im stuck on 1. can you help plz.
I guess the currant sensor is some form of camera, but you will have to supply more information about your school excercise.
Analyze the image to detect the color and/or shape of the currant.
If currant is Absolut Kurant, then I don't expect to you see so many bottles each second. If talking about the berries, then the number of berries you can detect in a second will of course depend on how fast you get the image analysis.
I would expect that you need a color camera to see red, white, pink and black currant. Not sure if there are other colors too, but that shouldn't really matter, as long as the color is within the visible spectrum and they are not too close in color/shape from the background.
