Windows RDP update + Debugger issue

Currently using uVision3 v3.80 and recently windows issued an update that Updated the Remoted desktop connection for XP making it the same version as Windows 7. However now the uVision3 debugger keeps locking up, I uninstall the update and the debugger works fine. However, we have a wsus server that keeps trying to installe the update.

Is this a known issue? Anyone else having this issue? Any work arounds to have this update installed, and the debugger working fine? Anything I'm missing?

Thanks for the notice. Don't you just love Billy Gates watching out for your updates?
Every time I update Office I must redo OutLook.

But, to your problem. I suggest that you forward this to Keil Tech support directly. You know they do not monitor this forum on a regular basis.

But I can tell you what either Keil or Microsoft will tell you. Update you Display Drivers! I doubt that that will be any help but that will be the first words out of their mouth.

  • Tried newest Nvidia driver (1279.48_notebook_winxp_32bit_beta.exe). It is a Beta version and caused screen flicker. Rolled back to NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M driver dated 12/16/2005 V8.3.06. Had to reinstall Matrox drivers for DualHead2Go box for dual monitors -- a pain to get set back up. Note: Matrox driver is PowerDesk-SE V11.10.500.11

Note: uVision4 environment was much worse at crashing with KB969084 loaded than uVision3.

Enough messing with this as I have real work to do and can't play with trying to make tools work.

If I find link to send to support, I'll reference this link.
