MDK-ARM version 4.0

Hi There,
I have just installed evaluation version of MDK-ARM version 4.00 and have two questions:
1. I am unable to compile any program as linker returns an error regarding 'main function not found' and library RV40(RV30 is there only) which is missing from installation.
2. can I use legacy CARM tool chain with MDK-ARM 4.00 ?

I would be very grateful if some one can share some thoughts.
many thanks

  • Hi Salman,

I have the same problem. The linker can't find the libraries in folder RV40. This folder doesn't exist in MDK ARM 4.00 so I created it and copied the INC and LIB folders from RV31 (my previous version) to folder RV40. I compiled the code and downloaded to target and it seems to work.
