How to generate an DAC funktion with the ADuC812

My analog input range for the ADC is 0 to Vref. (Vref = 2.5 volts).
So i need an c- program that can boost my output voltage of the board in 0.5 volt steps every 0.1 seconds. The baudrate should be at 19200.

Maybe you can help me

    The ADC measures voltages. It does not generate voltages.

    Or did you plan to use the ADC in a feedback loop?

    And exactly what has baudrate with the voltages to do? Or is it the school exercise that requires that you should have a serial port taking commands (or reporting measurements)?
