CortexM3 Register binding

Hi everyone,

I know that on some Atmel microcontrollers it is possible to specify for a variable the memory space as directly being a CPU Register. Would it be possible as well to "bind" a variable with one of the Coretex Register, like R12? If yes, how? Im working with Keil Compiler...
