TRANSFER FN OF STEPPER MOTOR

I NEED TO KNOW IF THERE IS A TRANSFER FUNCTION OF A STEPPER MOTOR LIKE THE DC MOTOR.
CAN I USE THIS FUNCTION ( IF EXISTS )TO
EXAMINE THE STEP RESPONSE FOR STEPPER MOTOR
HAVING HIGH INERTIAL LOAD

    Yes, there must be a transfer function - as that is just a mathematical expression that relates some stimulus to its resulting response.

    How much do you understand about mathematical modelling of dynamic systems?

    It would depend on the characteristics of the particular motor, so the manufacturer's data would be the place to start...
