My understanding of the 8051 memory is not very clear. Could someone explain what's the difference between partitioned and non-partitioned modes?
When writing an application, how do I decide which mode to use? And what differences would the code have between these 2 modes?
Thanks in advance!
Oh, and just for the record I'm using MON390. I'm saying this in case START390.A51 needs any changes.
Thanks again!
I don't think those terms have any 8051 standard meaning?
Are they specific to the Dallas DS5000? If so, see: http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread3469.asp
Maybe Maxim/Dallas would be the best to ask?
OK. I'm using the Dallas DS5250, but I thought this was a general subject. I'm having lots of troubles with Dallas/Maxim/Dalsemi support. They always seem to reply something else instead of answering my question. I'll have to keep pestering them. :-P
