I'm using the CC1010 development kit with uVision 3.51. The CC1010IDE, however, is made to integrate with uVision 2. So, I had to install uVision2, then the CC1010IDE, then uVision3. It worked after that, except that the CC1010 In-System Debugger dll was not linked correctly. I tried to reinstall CC1010IDE, which first uninstalled, and now refuses to reinstall ("unable to detect uVision 2"). I'm now dead in the water and unable to do anything. Other than reinstalling everything from scratch, how can I fix this? Even if I do reinstall, how can I get the debugger working with uVision 3?
The debug DLL is usually provided by the chip manufacturer - so you'd need to contect them for support on it.
Do they provide any instructions for installing the DLL - such as manual tweaks to TOOLS.INI?
If they haven't updated it to work with uVision-3, then you're stuck with uVision-2 - for debugging, at least.
