I am trying to display what ever I press on key board in reg A. Its working unto 0to9 and ‘A’to ‘F’. But ia m unable to get the logic beyond that Can any one help me
Did you try Google with "define hexadecimal"?
yes but didnt get proper material
As in description how hexadecimal numbers work, or as in not finding fully documented '51 assembler code ready to turn in to teacher?
"I am trying to display what ever I press on key board"
What keyboard? Is it a small matrix keypad? Or a full 102-key PC keyboard? Or what??
"Its working unto 0to9 and ‘A’to ‘F’."
I'm afraid those characters are illegible on my display - what are they supposed to say?
"But ia m unable to get the logic beyond that"
What other keys are available? ie, what other characters are you trying to display?
What have you tried?
"didnt get proper material"
In what way, exactly, was it "improper"?
"I am trying to display..."
Display on what?
7-Segment LEDs? Character LCD? Graphic LCD? Serial port?
or what??
The characters you couldn't read was just "A" to "F", but he used fancy-pancy apostrophes of a type not suitable for the current encoding.
