Hi,
My company has Keil Cx51 V8.08, but we need V7.06 to verify that the source code by another programmer corresponds to the hex file we are using. I called Keil support but they can no longer provide that version. Is there anyone who still have V7.06 can willing to help us? Thank you!
Save your existing Keil installation by copying it to another directory before you install any new software. Install the 7.06 in a different directory. You can have both versions installed.
You can probably get by simply by saving the old cx51.exe and replacing it with the 7.06 version. In the past, I've swapped between 7.02, 7.05, and 7.20 of C51 successfully without doing full installs, but only by renaming the compiler .exe.
Thank you Drew. To download a version you need its PSN. I used my V8.08 PSN to download V7.06a, but was rejected (even though I can download V8.08). I think even if I can download it, I will be unable to run it since I don't have PSN and LIC of that version.
Do you need PSN and LIC to run the software?
Anybody has any ideas? Thanks!
My suggestion is to stick with Keil support... They, being the creators of the software, should be able to figure out a way to help you.
