Hello,
I am using EPM900 to program NXP LPC936 microcontroller. The application writes some data to the flash memory of the microcontroller. After the application has exited, I want to read back the flash memory data that was written by the application for debugging. Is there any way to read back the flash or display the flash memory of the target using EPM900? Or any other way to read back the flash memory of the microcontroller.
Thanks Umesh
Thanks for the reply.
I looked at the document you directed, it talks of using EPM900 in emulator mode. I am not running EPM900 in emulator mode. I am using it in programmer mode, to program a LPC936 and want to read flash of this (not the bondout) so that I can view it on a PC. I read somewhere that this is definitely possible for LPC936 using flash-magic. I wanted to know if this is possible using EPM900 and associated application (keil uVision3).
somewhere. I do not recall, in, probably the FM forum it says: "since the LPC code memory can not be read back there is the ability to verify checksums".
Erik
Yes. You are right. I figured that out later :(. LPC memory can not be read back.
