Does the Keil Compiler support the Cypress CY7C64713 family of parts? I think they are replacing the CY7C64613 parts. Any help would be appreciated!! -Todd
Okay...more specifically...I updated to 7.50a and the part was not listed in the device database. Does this matter? I started looking at updating the device database (simple enough) but am not sure if the link, simulator, monitor options are correct. Has anyone out there "rolled-their-own" device before? Is it fairly easy?
Todd; Listed on the parameter and supported chips, both the 64 and 68 chips appear to be fully supported except for USB. Keil has never supported the USB in the simulator/Debugger directly. Instead the Cypress eval boards supported a special version of MON51 that is auto loaded via the Cypress USB support package. With this version of MON51, most debug features are available. No Trace, No PA, etc. Breakpoints, watchpoints, etc., are supported. My version of 7.05A shows the CY7C64xx and the CY7C68xx supported including the latest, the CY7C68XXX-X FX2LP as supported devices. What is missing from your device data base?
