Just starting a new Thread with exactly the same question will not get you a different answer! What you supplied before was totally inadequate to give any answer, and you have just re-stated the same useless information! It is totally impossible to give any detailed description of any function given only its name! As has already been mentioned, if the documentation on those functions you have is really that bad, your time would probably be better spent in writing your own! There are plenty of LCD Tutorials all over the web, and even some Application Notes right here on this very site.
