send AT COMMANDS from AT89c51 to NOKIA 30

I am trying to design a security system in which i need to send AT COMMANDS from AT89c51 to NOKIA 30 .

After programming and simulating 89c51 when i connect it to hyperterminal ..it works perfectly...but problem arises when i connect it to nokia 30.
nokia 30 doesnt seem to receive any commands.

note:
1. rx and tx pins are taken care of and cross cable and straight cable care is also taken.
