Should be 555. You're off by a bit.
Should be 555. You're off by a bit. not a bit, but a rightshift Erik
It's 6381921. If you include the null-terminator at the end of the string, however, it's 1633771776. Which is clearly "IGEETTITTG" in leet-speak, which looks sorta like "I GET IT TO GO." The statement was a social commentary on our frivolous consumption of fast food.
You aparently didn't use google. 638-1921 is the phone number to a plumbing supply company in Florida. As it turns out, they are using the Keil tools to develop a high-tech, down-drain application soon to be available on the consumer market. It supposed to be big competition to Drain-O and other chemical-based solutions (hehehe). Jon
Are you saying that using microprocessors is like throwing money down the drain? I can see it now: "Keil. Gets the Clogs Out. Coming soon: mcu-drain-out model for personal gastrointestinal use." :)
Please! I've just had to be sorting out a blockage in our drains in a very hands-on manner. I don't want to be reminded of it here...
This thread is plumbing the depths of humour.
"not a bit, but a rightshift" You had it right with your first word...
I can see it now: "Keil. Gets the Clogs Out. Coming soon: mcu-drain-out model for personal gastrointestinal use." One of the scariest facts i know of is the following: A company that has made some '51 code for a company I know went through 762 releases and still did not get it right. This very company is currently developing a computer controlled prostate biopsy machine for a medical company. Erik
You had it right with your first word... Good catch, but that is a job for the optimizer that Keil is so proud of. Erik

This very company is currently developing a computer controlled prostate biopsy machine for a medical company. That doesn't matter. As long as they follow regulatory rigor, it makes it through QA and the FDA gives it their blessing, then it will be guaranteed tested and stable software. And for their software QA needs, I recommend: http://www.newtechusa.com/ppi/main.asp
