i think there is two possibility to implement this. One of them is using ds80c890. I have sample but the package type is not suitable for me to implement. ( I am a student). But if there is no solution, i will use it. As i understand, the software related protocols are found in this IC and there is 8 pin to connect it to cat5 cable, only we call some functions. if there is any my fault please warn me !!! the next solution is to use a ISA ethernet card with basic 8051 like at89c52. But the software is needed. This will be easy for implemention of hardware but hard for software. are there any one who knows any website or document about this type? Helpppp thanks
