Hello,
Recently I received an email invitation to some ARM webinar for i.MX, however the global.gotowebinar.com is requiring us to download some “GoToWebinar Opener.exe” executable to install, could you please provide a webpage instead for future webinars (like most other major companies do)? Most companies don't allow to install (spying?) applications and have no interest opening "special" policies in their firewall. I understand from Keil Support that to install an app or web plugin is quite "common", e.g. Cisco WebEx requires such a plugin installation as well, but there are enough technologies in the browsers already to allow webinar without such plugins. In the mean time I will watch the Youtube video for this webinar once we get a link, but we lost the opportunity to ask questions, hopefully they will reply to comments.
Best regards, David.
Note that this is an end-user forum - if you want to address comments to ARM or Keil, you should do that directly...
See: http://www.keil.com/forum/
Actually, I did address directly this problem to Support at ARM/Keil, but since I don't have a MDK license, I was welcomed to raise it in this forum. I thought I would spend some time raising this just as a suggestion which might bring more people to their webinars, if none of people in ARM/Keil are interested improving this then feel free to ignore or remove this post, makes no difference to me.
