Does anyone knows when it will be available the next version of MDK-ARM v5.24? Because I am developing a new system with RTOS, and I see that CMSIS-RTOS (RTX) has more debug support (System and Thread Viewer, Event Viewer with independent tasks) than CMSIS-RTOS2 (RTX5). But I see in the following post that the next versión v5.24 will incorporate this debug functions with the CMSIS-RTOS2, so I am trying to know how much time I need to wait.

If you look over the release notes, the developers release a new version about every 3 months. So by that logic, you should see MDKv5.24 within about two months from now. It is really hard to guarantee a firm date, because they have to re-test tons of features.
You can use the "RTX RTOS" component viewer window (listed underneath the watch windows) to view more info about RTXv5 threads. I think that's the best that is available for RTXv5, for now.
This knowledgebase article was taken down, because the plan has changed from what was documented earlier. The release date is unknown, but a similar feature is definitely planned for a future version of MDK.
I recommend paying very close attention to Embedded World 2017, happening next week. Some announcements will be given then about new support for RTXv5 in at least one piece of software developed by another company. Feel free to ask for an update in this thread. I can speak more about it, after their official announcement.

The KB article was updated with more information about MDK's plan.
Also, Percepio made their announcement: www.design-reuse.com/.../arm-rtos-visualization-percepio.html They now support a way to view RTXv5 threads.

Tracealyzer is very nice indeed. I wonder if KEIL will included it as part of the MDK Professional (and Plus) editions without having to fork out more money.
