I am making a emulator using SST's SoftIce.
And now I need to modify some function of it. So I need to know the Monitor-51 protocol and SST SoftIce source code.

  • I have heard that Philips sell a copy of their SoftIce code to emulator makers for a licence fee of $160.000.

The SoftICE in the SST parts and in the Philips parts is a modified version of the Keil MON51 Target Monitor.

SST has moved their development from California to Asia (I'm not sure where) and this includes the SoftICE development team. You'll need to find the group at SST that did this work and contact them directly.
