Hi, What is the importance of autonegotiation while doing projects related with servers? While looking the datasheet of the physical device in use I came to know that autonegotiation pins are used along with the LED pins while those LEDs are showing status? How this is possible.In my project the green LED of RJ45 is OFF always and the Yellow seems blinking. Green is connected to LED LINK(AN_EN) and YELLOW to the LED ACT(AN0)
I would like to know the importance of autonegotiation while dealing with HTTP server project? I am using MCB1800. But the web page is not displaying. While learning my physical ethrenet driver datasheet I found about atonegotiation. 3 Pins are used for autonegotiation AN_EN, AN0, AN1. The same pin is used for the LED configuration. How can it be made possible? I am not able understand the sample code given by MDK5.
