encoding of the Value field in LX51 Listing (MAP) file

Hi,

I am looking at this page: http://www.keil.com/support/man/docs/lx51/lx51_ln_mapfile.htm
It says: "The public symbols table displays the value, name, class, and type for public symbols." and "The symbol table contains symbolic information obtained from the input modules. Included are the value, representation, class, type, and name for all symbols.".

What exactly does the Value field mean? The lower 16 bits of the Value field looks like address, but what is the encoding of the higher 16 bits? I can not find any more information in the manual. Could anyone give some more information?
